Wer von San Francisco aus nach Süden den Highway 1 fährt, kann in Half Moon Bay den ersten Stopp einlegen. Half Moon Bay ist ein kleines Dorf mit kleinen Geschäfte, Boutiquen, und Cafés.

Der Half Moon Bay State Beach  ist wirklich schön, da er mehr oder weniger Natur pur bietet. Blumenwiesen befinden sich links und rechts neben den Wegen. Hier wurde nicht wie an manch anderen bekannten Stränden groß gebaut oder kommerzialisiert. Der Beach ist auch noch sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Wir nutzten diese Gelegenheit natürlich um unsere Surfskills weiter zu verbessern. Wahnsinn wie schnell dabei die Zeit vergeht….
