Schon nach 2 h fahrt kamen wir im GC NP an. Als wir am ersten Canyon ViewPoint ankamen verschlag es uns beiden die Sprache. Sicher kennt man die beeindruckenden Bilder, aber jedoch live davor zu stehen, ist unbeschreiblich. Alles ist so riesig, so mächtig. Dafür gibt es keine Worte. Das muss man einfach gesehen haben…. Natürlich machen wir viele Bilder, aber es kommt einfach nie so rüber, als staende man direkt davor.

Gegen mittag sind wir dann an unserem ersten Campingplatz angekommen, welcher fuer eine Nacht lediglich 12 Dollar kostet und wunderschön ist. Als Abendessen gab es direkt von unserem Campingkocher, Spagetti mit Tomstensoße und Bohnen. Gut gestärkt, werden wir dann morgen einen der tollen Trails den Canyon runter gehen. Der Trail wird ca. 7 h dauern. Auf Grund dessen werden wir auch ein Zelt+Essen mitnehmen, um unten zu Zelten.

Ein kleines sorry, das die Beitraege etwas verspaetet kommen, aber hier im Outback, gibt es leider keine Wifi Spots 🙁
