Nach einer 3 stündigen Autofahrt durch eine wunderschöne Wüstenlandschaft haben wir endlich Sierra Vista – der Ort wo meine Tante wohnt – erreicht. Die Stadt, welche direkt in der Wüste ist, hat ca. 43.000 Einwohner und liegt 1400 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, was natürlich für ein deutlich angenehmeres Klima sorgt.

Morgen am 29.04. werden wir nach Tombstone fahren. Tombstone war um 1880 Schauplatz verschiedener berühmter Schießereien, unter anderem der Schießerei am O. K. Corral. Auch sollte diese Stadt jedem Western-Fanatiker ein Begriff sein, da dort einige Filme gedreht wurden, dazu jedoch morgen mehr.

Am 30.04 werden wir dann einen Abstecher nach Mexico machen, da Sierra Vista lediglich 20 km von der Grenze entfernt ist.
